Meet Kristina
Founding attorney Kristina Akers was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Before attending law school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from UCLA. Kristina then completed her legal education at Pepperdine University School of Law, where she earned her J.D. She also earned her Certificate in Dispute Resolution at the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution, one of the top dispute resolution programs in the country.
Experience
During law school, Kristina interned with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office as a certified clerk in the Victim Impact Program, where she assisted in prosecuting perpetrators of sexual assault and domestic violence. She also interned for insurance defense firms and with family law practitioners. The highlight of her law school experience was participating in Pepperdine’s Restoration and Justice Clinic. As a student attorney in the clinic, Kristina, alongside her partner, conducted and won a trial for a temporary restraining order.
After law school, Kristina worked as a law clerk for a prominent personal injury firm in Orange County. Upon obtaining her license, she was promoted to attorney. Kristina has gained extensive experience in all aspects of handling a personal injury case from inception through trial— including pre-litigation, written discovery, depositions, law and motion, and pre- and post-trial motions.
When Kristina isn’t pursuing justice for her clients, you can find her spending time with her husband and two daughters, in a barre class, or at a Dodger game.
